Egypt Road And Route 29 Intersection Could Get Permanent Traffic Signal: Report

A permanent traffic signal could be installed at the intersection of Egypt Road and Route 29, according to a report in the Times Herald.

A light was put up during the construction of the bridge over Pickering Creek, and officials are considering leaving it there permanently now that construction of the bridge is completed, the report states.

Upper Providence Township staff reportedly asked PennDOT to keep the light up for another year to analyze crash data and develop a long term plan, according to the report.
