Elderly Man Fights Phoenixville Church For Right To Parking Space: Report

One Phoenixville man is hoping that the church will be a good neighbor.

An elderly Phoenixville man that is ill is continuing to fight for his right to park his car on a small piece of church land that is next to his house on 115 Dayton Street, according to a Pottstown Mercury report.

Tina Nelson is fighting the Archdiocese of Philadelphia in court on behalf of her father, 82-year-old Joseph Natale, the report states.

The St. Mary of the Assumption Roman Catholic Church recently surveyed the land and said Natale, who had been parking there for decades, was no longer aloud to use the property because the church owned it, the report states.
