September is looking like its going to be a pretty busy month in Phoenixville!

Phoenixville is gearing up to welcome September 2023 with an exciting roster of events! Our vibrant town is brimming with cultural activities, social gatherings, enthralling workshops, and live music events that you aren't going to want to miss!

Here’s a sneak peek into what Phoenixville has in store for September:

Firstly, we are incredibly excited about the First Annual Phoenixville Film Festival! Devoted film enthusiasts can look forward to a kaleidoscope of independent films sponsored by The Colonial Theatre. Expect to see over 50 intriguing motion pictures from around the globe. It's an opportunity to delve into diverse narratives and voices that you won't want to miss.

For lovers of literary works, Reads & Company is spearheading multiple book clubs, author appearances and signings, virtual events, and other engaging activities for bibliophiles. It's a perfect occasion to appreciate the written word and maybe discover your new favorite author.

There are plenty of free live music events to choose from this month, including:

  • First Friday, Friday, September 1st, at the Main & Bridge Parking Lot in the center of town.
  • On September 9th, multiple bands will take the stage throughout the day during the Phoenixville Blues Festival in Reeves Park.
  • September 16th brings The Kimberton Art & Music Festival in Kimberton Community Park.
  • Also on September 16th, it's time for WuFFJam in Reeves Park during the day, and then the Rhythm & Brews event at the Main & Bridge Parking Lot in the evening ... and don't be surprised if you happen to see a lot of kaftans, costume jewelry and red wigs in town ... it's just the Mrs. Roper Bar Crawl, an event created by Jax Helsel Hripto that has generated interest from more than 4,000 people!

Farmers and artisan food producers display and sell their produce every Saturday at the Phoenixville Farmers Market under the Gay Street Bridge. The market is a gratifying experience that supports local businesses and offers the freshest and best quality products. During their September 23rd market, enjoy a little Green Earth Festival aka "Greenixville" at the market.

Solace Farms Day Retreat is another place to check out this month. They offer an assortment of classes, workshops, events, and support groups to help "fill your bucket!" On September 30th, don't miss their Psychic & MetaPhysical Fair featuring 20+ vendors who will be offering psychic & medium readings, tarot & oracle readings, mini reiki & massage sessions, and opportunities to purchase crystals, candles, jewelry, crafts, and more!
