ENOUGH AMERICA

The body politic is broken in America. We have contracted a virus and it is called The Tea Party virus. These are not bad or stupid people but I believe lack foresight and maturity. For most, if not all, of the commentary you hear from these individuals is "its our way or the highway" "there is no room for compromise" it is this obstructionist mindset that is slowly destroying what once was an exemplar to the world of civility and cooperation. Now we are just two children on ether side of the aisle threatening to take are ball home if we don't get our way! There was a time in America that it didn't matter if you had an "R" or a "D" in front of your name, if you had an idea that moved our country forward we rallied around it. Sadly, those days are gone. I hope one day we can return to understanding that Republicans, Democrats and Tea Party members all love their Country. If we can stop and listen and learn from each other maybe, one day, we can begin to move forward as a Great Nation once more.
