Essence of Joy Alumni Singers Perform Locally

A tremendous musical experience was heard at First Presbyterian Church (FPC) on Sunday, April 23rd, as Penn State's Essence of Joy Alumni Singers (EOJAS) blessed the congregation with their beautiful sound. In addition, FPC's very own Praise Team contributed to worship with very moving renditions of "Good Good Father" as the prelude and "Because He Lives" as the postlude.

EOJAS sang four selections throughout the service providing moments of solemnity and uplifting spirituality. Under the direction of Dr. Anthony T. Leach, the choir's mission is to share African-American sacred and secular music. Church-goers were thrilled to have experienced that today!
