The course is on a well-marked, beautiful, scenic lakefront, shaded trail. It is perfect for beginners with enough technical challenges to keep experts on their toes as well. The race has forests, rolling hills, grassy meadows, messy mud holes, downed trees and more! The race is a 5 mile loop, with all runners starting at the same time. You decide if you want to finish in the 5 mile race or the 10 mile race at any time during the 1st loop!
There will be water stops every 2.5 miles on the trail with a lot of post race food, vendors, and race results posted on the internet about 2-3 days after the race and instant results posted at the race! There are modern bathrooms available on site as well.

Proceeds from the race will help provide environmental education programs for special needs and underprivileged children, including camp scholarships, and support the Birds of Prey Center, a home for permanently injured raptors that have come in from various rehabilitation facilities.
