Phoenixville Country Club Hosts the 64th Golf Association of Philadelphia Junior-Junior Boys' Championship

The 64th Golf Association of Philadelphia Junior-Junior Boys' Championship

Phoenixville Country Club (Phoenixville CC) is hosting the 2012 Golf Association of Philadelphia (GAP) Junior-Junior Boys' Championship and today announced the daily schedule. This year’s tournament will be held July 30 through August 1, 2012 and it marks the third year for which PCC has served as the host venue.

The event’s daily schedule is as follows: 

• Round 1 begins on Monday July 30, 2012 with the first tee time at 8:00 AM
• Quarterfinal and Semifinal Rounds will begin at 8:00 AM on Tuesday July 31, 2012 with the last tee time occurring at 12:00 noon
• Final Round will begin at 8:00AM on Wednesday August 1, 2012

The GAP Junior-Junior Championship is open to junior boys from GAP Member Clubs who are 10 to 13 years of age. Stroke play qualifying will take place on Monday with 32 players advancing to match play. This is a single elimination event, and those winning both matches on Tuesday will continue match play on Wednesday. 

The public is welcome to attend the tournament on a walking basis and attendance is free. Food and beverages will be available. There is limited parking at Phoenixville CC and overflow parking will be made available as necessary. PCC is located at 355 Country Club Road, Phoenixville, PA 19460.
