Facetime Theatre kicks off new mainstage season with A CABARET FESTIVAL
A musical feast in Phoenixville's Franklin Commons starting Oct. 6!
Facetime Theatre presents A CABARET FESTIVAL on October 6, 7 and 8, featuring some of the area's most talented performers from Phoenixville, Pottstown, Paoli, Philadelphia and beyond!
Each day of the festival showcases a different group of 6 singers performing their own cabaret sets.
Friday night's show features the vocal talents of Brad DeLeone, Geoff Desiato, Alicia Huppman, Katrya Oransky-Petyk, Ryan Starczewski and Kim Whitehill. Brad, a Facetime regular, has recently received critical acclaim for his portrayal of Dorian Gray in the off-Broadway production of Dorian Gray, the Musical. Geoff, who is new to Facetime, is a professional singer and musician who performs regularly in Montgomery and Bucks counties. You may have seen Alicia recently as ½ of the cabaret act known as Dueling Divas, while Katrya has been busy launching a new floral design business called Sage Knoll Designs. And you may recognize Facetime veteran Ryan from his star turns in our summer stage and mainstage productions, as well as Kim who shone as Ariel in Facetime’s 2015 production of Footloose!

Saturday night showcases Nina Harper, Rachel Hendrickson, Abby Mosconi, Kate Nice, Alyssa Reape and Robert Rinaldo. Nina wowed Facetime audiences last year with her performance in Songs for a New World, and Rachel has been performing around the area in the Girl Group of the 60s and other tribute groups. Abby has been known to perform at the Cornelia St. Café in NYC, while Kate is known to all Facetime followers as our beloved vice-president, director, teacher and knockout performer. You may have seen Alyssa, a Facetime newbie, in The Barn’s recent production of The Addams Family. Robert, a member of the Brandywine Singers Chamber Choir, is also making his Facetime debut.
The Sunday evening performance features Haley Benson, Katy Carney, Jamie Dougherty, Chris Eklund, Raina Murdock and Amy Osterhoudt. Haley is new to the area, having recently moved from Chicago where she received her B.F.A. in Musical Theatre from Columbia College. Katy is returning to Facetime after turning in her strong performance as Susan in our 2015 production of Company. Jamie, a Facetime vet and intern extraordinaire, has been featured in several summer stage productions, while Chris is making his Facetime debut. Raina recently rocked the Facetime stage in the 4Women Cabaret benefit performance, and Amy, a Facetime favorite, has been sharing her singing, directing and teaching talents with us for 3 years.
