Fall Tree Planting in Phoenixville is Saturday

Please consider volunteering your time to plant trees on the morning of Saturday, Nov. 15.

The Borough will be planting approximately 25 trees on the morning of Saturday, November 15th. Trees were purchased through a grant from the Pennsylvania Horticulture Society in conjuction with their TreeVitalize program and Plant One Million campaign and will be planted in parks and along French Creek in the Farmer’s Market area.

The volunteer group will meet at Reeves Park at 9 am near the playground on 3rd Ave. for a demonstration planting on proper planting techniques after which the group will split up and plant the remaining trees.

This is a great way for residents and families to give back to the community and enjoy the outdoors. Please consider volunteering your time. If you are interested contact the Phoenixville Tree Advisory Commission at phxville.tac@gmail.com.
