Burkhart’s wife, Dolly, had to quit her job so that she could take care of Bill.
Burkhart also requires overnight nursing care.

And unfortuantely, to compound the issue, that care is not covered by insurance.
A fundraiser dinner - “Bill Burkhart’s Dine Out Night” - will be held at the Bistro on Bridge on Thursday night, from 4:30 p.m. until 10 p.m.
Below is the full menu for the evening. Proceeds will go toward paying for the night nurse.

Burkhart’s family is also fundraising by selling t-shirts with his likeness on the front. See below for order details.
