First Friday Fire: October Event In Phoenixville To Include Fire Department

First Friday in October will have a fiery twist.

It’s Fire Prevention Week, and in commemoration of the week, the Phoenixville FIre Department will host a special exhibit during normal First Friday activities.

Residents can meet local firefighters, learn family safety tips, meet Sparky the fire dog, see fire trucks on display and have other photo opportunities with fire officials.

The event will take place on Main and Bridge Streets from 6 to 10 p.m. on October 2.
