Thousands Expected For Phoenixville First Friday, Food Truck Festival
Live music, great food, theatrical performances, and much more.

PHOENIXVILLE, PA -- Friday is the first Friday in May, and that means it's the first First Friday of the 2016 season in Phoenixville.
Live music, great food, shopping specials, and more will be featured on Bridge Street in downtown Phoenixville from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Phoenixville First Fridays are an exhilarating celebration! Every month we showcase the eclectic feel of Phoenixville. You'll find live music, theatrical performances, local artists, & fun surprises! Walk around and explore some of our arts venues, small shops , unique boutiques and outstanding restaurants. First Fridays are a great time to experience the beauty of the Borough and all that the Downtown Area has to offer. Gather your friends & family, & join us every First Friday each month at 6-10pm.
On May 6, the featured band will be the Coco Butter Band, performing on the Main Stage at the intersection of Bridge and Main.

Street performances will include several well known local artists, including:

The Food Truck Festival, meanwhile, will take place on Satuday, rain or shine, from noon to 6 p.m. A free shuttle service will be available for this event between the hours of 11 a.m. and 7 p.m. There are 2 buses for each location: Schuylkill Elementary School or The University of Valley Forge.
Phoenixville Police issued a reminder to the public that they would be vigilantly enforcing open container laws, both on First Friday and during the Food Truck Festival Saturday,
