Flushing Of Fire Hydrants Scheduled In Phoenixville

Phoenixville's fire hydrants will undergo scheduled flushing later this month, the Public Works Department announced.

PHOENIXVILLE, PA -- Phoenixville's fire hydrants will undergo scheduled flushing later this month, the Public Works Department announced.

Flushing, which is done by the borough twice a year as part of routine maintenance and upkeep, will begin on Monday, March 27, officials said.

Flushing will begin in the area north of French Creek, from Fillmore Street south to Bridge Street, and then continue south across the borough.

Most flushing will occur between 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

There could be a slight cloudiness in tap water as a consequence of the flushing, according to officials.
