Crowded Castle Brewing Company, the borough's newest microbrewery, is set to open in the late spring or early summer of 2017. Crowded Castle has been brewing for some time, but they announced in July of 2016 that they had signed a lease for a new taproom at 240-242 Bridge Street.
Crowded Castle will be the latest in the borough's fledgling local spirits scene, along with recent popular additions Stable 12 and Bluebird Distilling. Larger breweries like Sly Fox and Iron Hill, meanwhile, complement the newer players.
