Former Eagle William Bergey Raises Funds For Phoenixville Clinic

A former Philadelphia Eagle will be on hand at an upcoming Golf Classic fundraiser.

PHOENIXVILLE, PA -- William Bergey, Middle Linebacker for Philadelphia Eagles (1974-1980) and Sports Hall of Fame Inductee will attend The Clinic’s 14th Annual Golf Classic Fundraiser, they announced Monday.

On April 19, golfers can enjoy a day on the course at the RiverCrest Golf Club while helping support The Clinic’s work to help those in need in our community at the 14th Annual Clinic Golf Classic. Golfers will also meet The Clinic’s guest, Bergey.

The 14th Annual Clinic Golf Classic starts with registration at 10:00 am at RiverCrest Golf Club, followed by a buffet lunch. Players participate in the Step Aside Scramble at noon and begin play.

After 18 holes of golf, they return to the clubhouse to enjoy cocktails, dinner and raffle. The registration fee is $275 for individuals and $1,000 for foursomes, which covers the greens fee, cart, buffet lunch, prizes, cocktails and dinner.

About The Clinic

The Clinic was established in 2002 to create a medical center, staffed by volunteer clinicians, to help people who did not have adequate access to health care services due to the lack of medical insurance. The Clinic provides primary care and specialty medical services through in-house staff, volunteer physicians and other clinicians. Our medical services include: Family Practice, Internal Medicine, Gynecology, Pediatrics, Cardiology, Urology, Orthopedics, Psychiatry, Allergy, and Dermatology and Dermatologic Surgery. Other clinical services include, Psychological services, Holistic Health counseling, Acupuncture, Optometry. The clinic offers an in-house laboratory, Pharmacy Assistance Program, and diagnostic tests, procedures, and consults provided by Paoli Hospital under the Charity Care Program.
