Former Phoenixville Pastor Passes On New Years Day At Age 83
Pastor Louis G. Dubost served in Phoenixville for 11 and a half years. May he rest in peace.

PHOENIXVILLE, PA -- Pastor Louis G. Dubost, Jr. 83, husband of Nancy J. (Hoover) Dubost, of Pottstown, Pennsylvania, went into the presence of God on the Lord's day, Sunday, January 1, 2017. Born on August 25, 1933 in Baltimore, Maryland, he was the son of the late Edith (Goebert) and Louis G. Dubost, Sr.
Louis was a 1951 graduate of Westminster High School in Westminster, Maryland and served in the United States Marine Corps. for 8 years during the Korean War.

Pastor Lou was a graduate of Bob Jones University in Greenville, South Carolina and faithfully served the Lord full-time in Christian Ministry for 58 years. He served the Lord and the community as Senior Pastor, Sunday School teacher, Christian school teacher and administrator, Church Planter and Christian Counselor. He also provided services in Churches, nursing homes and various communities. He had served as Senior Pastor in Churches in North Carolina, Michigan, Maryland, Bermuda and Pennsylvania. He most recently served as Senior Pastor at Grace Bible Church in Phoenixville for the last 11 1/2 years and was a part time teacher at Valley Forge Baptist Academy. He was a wonderful husband and father who lived out his favorite Bible verse until the end: Colossians 1:18b "that in all things He might have the preeminence."
In addition to his loving wife of 62 years, Pastor Dubost is survived by two sons, David C., husband of Amy Dubost, of Collegeville and Jonathan M., husband of Kim Dubost, of Collegeville; daughter, N. Joy Dubost, of Washington, DC; seven grandchildren and two great-granddaughters.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his homegoing service on Thursday, January 5, 2017, at 11:00 am at Valley Forge Baptist Temple, 616 South Trappe Road, Collegeville. Officiating will be the Rev. Scott Wendal. Interment will follow in the Limerick Garden of Memories. Friends will be received from 6:30 - 8:00 pm Wednesday evening at the Campbell-Ennis-Klotzbach Funeral Home, Inc., Main Street at Fifth Avenue, Phoenixville and from 9:45 - 10:45 am Thursday morning at the Church.
