Greyhound Lost In Phoenixville Found Safe, Returned Home

A greyhound that was lost in Phoenixville has been found and returned to his family.

The large brown dog had lost his way near Bevons Orchard earlier in the week.

Dozens of people reached out to Patch by email and through Facebook with concern over this greyhound, more than all other lost animals combined in 2015.

Many volunteered to search for the lost hound, and others offered strategies and advice for luring the dog home.

The effort reflected the deep commitment of the greyhound advocacy community in Chester County and southeastern Pennsylvania.
