How Walkable Is Phoenixville? Survey Aims To Evaluate Issues

PHOENIXVILLE, PA — A new survey put together by the borough is analyzing walkability and accessibility issues in Phoenixville.

The survey asks about Route 23 intersections, safety, and accessibility for pedestrians around the borough.

Officials hope the the study will inform Walk Phoenixville, the borough's Pedestrian Accessibility Transportation Plan.

Specific goals of the plan include improved access for pedestrians of all capabilities, and the encouragment of non-vehicular travel to reduce traffic and promote health.
