Hydrant Flushing Begins In Phoenixville

Residents may notice discolored water and low water pressure during flushing.

PHOENIXVILLE, PA — Hydrant flushing began in Phoenixville on Monday as borough crews began a semi-annual maintenance effort.

Flushing started in the North Ward and will move through the area over the next three weeks.

Flushing helps maintain water quality, remove sediment and other deposits that build up in pipes, and keep infrastructure running smoothly.
