PHOENIXVILLE, PA — Hydrant flushing will continue for a few more weeks in Phoenixville.

The semi-annual flushing of the hydrants is scheduled to be completed by the second week of May.

"Flushing of fire hydrants may cause cloudiness with your tap water and we ask for your patience, as this condition is only temporary," Brian Watson, the Phoenixville Public Works Director, said in a statement.

Flushing will take place between 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. each day.

Officials describe flushing as an "integral" part of system maintenance.
