I-76 Closed After Massive Pileup Involving Two Dozen Cars

An accident involving over two dozen cars and about 60 people were involved in a pileup that resulted in the closure of Interstate 76 in both directions in Montgomery County, according to weather.com.
At least one person was killed in the pileup, according to NBC 10.
The accident happened right before 7 a.m. and is one of several accidents that took place as freezing rain and drizzle made travel dangerous in the region Sunday morning.

In Bucks County, there were over 100 accidents Sunday morning, including some that involved EMS vehicles, and about 231 accidents had been reported in New Jersey since midnight.
The Walt Whitman and Betsy Ross bridges into Philadelphia are closed, and there is a speed limit restriction in place going into New Jersey, according to 511nj.org.
