Injured Hiker Rescued From Woods In Montgomery County
First responders trekked into the woods for a rescue Saturday.
UPPER PROVIDENCE TOWNSHIP, PA — An injured hiker was rescued from the woods near Lock 60 on Saturday by local first responders.
The incident occurred at around 4:22 p.m. on the Neal Thorp Trail in the Mont Clare section of the township, not far from Lock 60.
Four UPT Fire and Emergency responders went into the woods and found the victim.

The exact extent of the individual's injuries are not clear, but they were able to carry the victim to an all terrain vehicle.
The vehicle then transported the victim to a waiting ambulance.

The rescue took about thirty minutes.
