Have you had a cesarean and are now trying to figure out what your options are for future births? Did you have a traumatic birth experience and just need to talk to someone else that has "been there"? Phoenixville Public Library will host support meetings of the International Cesarean Awareness Network (ICAN) of Pottstown. Angela Kirsch & Lisa Heffner are co-leaders. Meetings are scheduled for Saturdays, April 12, May 10 and June 14, from 10 AM to noon, in the Library’s Harrop Room.
The meetings are free and open to the public. ICAN is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to improve maternal-child health by preventing unnecessary cesareans through education, providing support for cesarean recovery, and promoting Vaginal Birth After Cesarean (VBAC).
