PHOENIXVILLE, PA — With fridgid temperatures and snowy and icy weather hitting the area, here's how you can best help your local shelter.
The Phoenixville Overnight Emergency Warming Center recently released this list of their most needed donations:
- Soup spoons
- Plastic Knives
- Pop-top, single serve soups, stews, or pastas
- Single serve cups of instant Mac n' Cheese
- Ramen noodles
- Regular size boxes of Cheerios or Shredded Wheat
- Acme, Giant, Wegmans, or BJ's gift cards

The Center works to provide a place for men, women, and children to stay overnight from 8 p.m. to 8 a.m. from mid-November to mid-April. Items can be dropped off at their location on 146 Church Street.
