January Phoenixville Health Inspections: Giant, Mr. China, Lupita's Mexican Market

The Chester County Health Department has inspected 11 Phoenixville establishments thus far in 2017.

PHOENIXVILLE, PA -- The new year has been busy for Chester County health inspectors in the area, as eleven borough establishments have been checked out since January 1.

Giant Food Store led the way with five violations. Milk containers were out of date, refrigerators were at wrong temperatures, and certain areas were not properly cleaned, among other violations.

Prima Motel and Lounge, inspected 1/13, two violations

Lupita's Mexican Market II, inspected 1/12, one violation

Giant Food Store, inspected 1/6, five violations

Bridge Street Chocolates, inspected 1/5, two violations

CCIU Headstart and PSE Center, inspected 1/4, no violations

Acme Markets, inspected 1/3, no violations

Herbalife Healthclub, inspected 1/3, two violations

Nick's Roast Beef, inspected 1/3, no violations

Sunoco, inspected 1/3, two violations

Wawa, inspected 1/3, no violations
