At 7:00 pm on Friday, December 18th, 2020, Renaissance Academy Charter School Upper & Lower School Choir and Band debuted their 2020 Winter Concert via YouTube.

The Winter Concert 2020 Video was created by the Music Department - Jonathan Springer, Eileen Keller, Elizabeth O'Leary, and Stephan Hayes, along with RA's talented musicians.

The concert was introduced by RA 6th grader, Lucy Deleon Marroquin who explained the dedication and commitment it took the performers to pull this show together. “Our talented musicians have learned so much this trimester about independent practice, recording your voice or instrument, and being a member of a virtual ensemble. The musicians faced each new challenge with a can-do attitude!”

With a backdrop slide show of pictures submitted by the students, the show included ensemble and solo performances and ended with a fun sing-a-long featuring the teachers from RA’s music department leading the way.

Music has the power to connect us and spread joy across our community. We hope you enjoy the show and share in our joy of music making!
