Kimberton Business Owner, Korean War Vet, 85

FREDERICK B. NEIMAN III, 85, OF KIMBERTON Frederick B. Neiman III, 85, husband of Jean (Schmehl) Neiman, of Kimberton, PA, died on Saturday, December 5, 2015 in Paoli Hospital.

Born in Upper Darby, PA, he was the son of the late Frederick B. Neiman, Jr. and Adeline D. (Dick) Neiman. Fred was a graduate of Phoenixville High School, class of 1948. He served in the United States Army in Germany during the Korean War.

He worked in the insurance business for 50 years, as an agent for Metropolitan Life Insurance Company, and later as owner of Fred Neiman Agency in Kimberton.

He was an active member of St. Peter’s Pikeland United Church of Christ in Chester Springs, a member of the Phoenixville Rotary Club, Pottstown Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association, and the Phoenixville Jaycees.

Surviving in addition to his wife are daughter, Sharon wife of John Kleinstuber of Blackwood, NJ; son, Brian A. and wife Tracy Neiman of Kimberton, PA; daughter, Patrice Lucas of Boothwyn, PA; daughter, Jean Ann wife of the late Gerald Barney of Glenmoore, PA; 11 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; brother, John D. husband of the late Anne Neiman of Kennett Square, PA; sister, Marilyn wife of the late S.T. Albritton of Camden, SC, and brother, Robert D. husband of Helen Neiman of Phoenixville, PA.

Relatives and Friends are invited to attend his Memorial Service in St. Peter’s Pikeland United Church of Christ, 1193 Clover Mill Road, Chester Springs, PA, on Saturday, December 12, 2015 at 2:00 p.m.

Visitation will be held in the church on Saturday afternoon from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m.
