Limerick Station To Test Sirens Monday Afternoon

Don't panic when you hear loud sirens booming through the borough this afternoon.

Limerick Generating Station will test its siren system on Monday afternoon at about 2 p.m.

The test, which occurs twice yearly - once in June and once in December - will take place for three minutes.

The “full siren” test is very loud and will heard for miles from the plant.
