Longtime Phoenixville Woman, Loved Gardening, Passes At 92

PHOENIXVILLE, PA -- Phyllis G. Henzie, age 92, wife of the late Charles H. Henzie, of Phoenixville, PA, passed away peacefully on Monday morning, May 30, 2016 in the Sunrise of Paoli Assisted Living Center after a long struggle with Alzheimer's. Born on April 18, 1924 in Three Springs, PA, she was a daughter of the late Harry and Gertrude "Larue" (Berrier) Flasher.

Phyllis loved spending time with her family, gardening and as she used to say, "just puttering around". The family wishes to extend their gratitude to the Neighborhood Hospice and Sunrise Living for their support in her final days.

Mrs. Henzie is survived by Two Sons, Charles M., husband of Mary Kay Henzie of Oley, PA, James H., husband of Sandra Henzie of Phoenixville, PA; Two Grandsons, Christopher P., husband of Dana Henzie, Sean C. Henzie; Two Granddaughters, Paige N. Henzie, Maygan J. Henzie; Great-grandson, Jackson A. Henzie; Two Sisters, Eva "Fern" Erb, Laura "Carolyn" Seeley. Mrs. Henzie was pre-deceased by her Sister, Helen Wanner.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Ceremony at the Good Shepherd Chapel Mausoleum at the Limerick Garden of Memories, 44 Swamp Pike, Royersford, PA on Friday, June 3, 2016 at 11:00 am.

Burial will immediately follow in the cemetery. Friends will be received from 10:30 am - 11:00 am Friday at Chapel. Contributions may be made to Neighborhood Hospice, 795 East Marshall Street, Suite 204, West Chester, PA 19380.
