The Kiddie Academy of Phoenixville is looking for qualified candidates to inspire young children!
Preschool 4 year old teacher-
The position is full time. You would implement preschool curriculum including The Letter People, Handwriting without Tears, Teaching Strategies Gold assessment & Kiddie Academy curriculum.
School Age teacher- Can be part time from 3-6:30 every day or can be full time and have other duties throughout the day depending on candidate's need. Ideally the candidate will be full time during the summer for camp.
Assistant teachers- duties vary depending on needs of the center. Candidates should be flexible and comfortable with children age 6 weeks old- 6 years old. They should have a willingness to further their education with our funding.
Candidates should have the following qualities:
- have reliable transportation
-live relatively local
-CDA, Associates or Bachelors Degree (for head teacher positions)
-Energetic and enthusiastic attitude towards children
-passionate and patient attitude in working with others
-ability to work as a team
-be creative in working with students to meet their developmental goals
-strong written and verbal skills for communication
- be willing to complete professional development classes
-be committed to professionalism in working with staff, students, and parents
