'ManuFest' Event To Promote Manufacturing Jobs In Oaks
There are more than 70,000 manufacturing jobs in Montgomery County, and opportunities are continually available, the county said.
OAKS, PA — An upcoming event in Montgomery County aims to expand and promote opportunities for manufacturing jobs in the local area.
"ManuFest and More 2020" will bring together students and educators from across both Montgomery and Bucks counties to discuss in-demand opportunities from the manufacturing and trades sectors.
The event will take place on Tuesday, March 10 at the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center in Oaks.

There are more than 70,000 manufacturing jobs in Montgomery County, and opportunities are continually available, the county said.
"Despite offering good pay and benefits, as well as opportunities for career advancement, employers struggle to fill these positions,” Valerie A. Arkoosh, chair of the Montgomery County Board of Commissioners said in a statement. "Manu-Fest and More 2020” is an opportunity for students and their parents to learn about the well-paying, innovative, and plentiful job opportunities that are available in both manufacturing and the building trades."

The second annual event will include demonstrations of products and projects, speakers including industry leaders, various exhibitors and booths, and more.
Free busing will be available for students and parents from surrounding school districts to the Expo Center.
