Maryland Gov. Martin O'Malley To Speak In Phoenixville
The 2016 presidential candidate will speak in Phoenixville to the Chester County Democratic Committee.
PHOENIXVILLE, PA — Martin O'Malley, the 2016 presidential candidate and former governor of Maryland, will speak in Phoenixville this weekend.
Gov. O'Malley will speak at the fall dinner meeting of the Chester County Democratic Committee, which will be held at Franklin Commons.
The former Baltimore mayor (1999-2007) and Maryland governor (2007-2015) achieved national attention when he joined the race for the Presidential nomination in May 2015.

Gov. O'Malley made it to the final three Democratic candidates in the 2016 primaries, alongside Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders, before dropping out following the Iowa caucuses in Feb. 2016.
The Committee's fall dinner is one of their largest fundraisers of the year.

The event begins with a VIP cocktail hour and open bar at 4 p.m. The dinner begins at 5 p.m. and runs until 8:30 p.m.
