New Brewing Company On The Way To Phoenixville

PHOENIXVILLE, PA - The New Year is already here, and as the spring approaches, so too does the opening date for the latest brewing company downtown.

Reading-based Chatty Monks Brewing Company is expected to move in next to Molly Maguire’s by this spring.

Chatty Monks would join Stable 12 Brewing as the most recent addition to the Phoenixville microbrewing scene, along with longer tenants Sly Fox and Iron Hill.

The new Chatty Monks will open at 1 Main Street and will include 200 seats, a 15-barrel production area, and more than 40 beer recipes, according to Main Line Today.

The fledgling local craft scene in Phoenixville is also represented by Bluebird Distilling and the Barrel Wine Bar downtown.
