New Live Theater Company Opens In Chester County

CHESTER SPRINGS, PA — Chester County has a brand new theatrical production company in town.

The Company Theatre's premier production is "5,6,7,8...A Cabaret of Music & Dance!" which celebrates a century of Broadway.

The theater, based in Chester Springs, has incorporated hits from numerous Broadway shows in their production, including Cabaret, Chicago, Gypsy, Anything Goes, Rent, Wicked, Guys and Dolls, and more, according to organizers.

"This is no ordinary cabaret," the theater said in a statement announcing their opening. "Come and see The Company Theatre’s premier production bring the house down in Nickerson-Rossi Dance’s emerging new black box performance space, “The Conservatory.” This is Broadway at its best and “5,6,7,8… A Cabaret of Music and Dance!” has been formatted for this intimate and personal production for an evening of first-rate entertainment. This workshop production celebrates the best of 100 years of Broadway with theatre professionals prepared to blow you away."

Ticket prices for "5, 6, 7, 8" are $10. The show will be performed on Jan. 26 and Jan. 27 at Nickerson-Rossi Dance's training school, "The Conservatory," at 534 Trestle Place in Downingtown.
