New Study Ranks Phoenixville 10th Nationally For Most Breweries
"Expect Phoenixville to become the next major beer destination on the East Coast," the study's authors note.

PHOENIXVILLE, PA — With a continuing stream of new microbreweries popping up in the Phoenixville area, it's little wonder that the borough ranks among the nation's most beer friendly places.
According to the beer media website Ornery Ales, Phoenixville has the 10th most breweries per 50,000 people in the entire nation.
A five mile radius around each town was considered as the list was put together.

Ahead of Phoenixville, which has 8.6 breweries per 50,000 people, were beer cities like Boulder, Colorado, Portland, Oregon, and Seattle, Washington.
Bend, Oregon led the list with 25.2 breweries per 50,000 people.

In the Philadelphia area, only West Chester had nearly the beer-density of Phoenixville. West Chester's seven breweries give it a 4.5 per 50,000 score.
"Expect Phoenixville to become the next major beer destination on the East Coast," the study's authors note.
The Phoenixville area is teeming with breweries, and the scene is only growing. Once Conshohocken Brewing Company and Rebel Hill open, there will be 10 breweries within a five mile radius of the town.
