Thomas "Chip" Pufko, 53
Thomas N. "Chip" Pufko, 53, husband of Mary Ann (Gallina) Pufko, of Spring City, PA, died on Wednesday, Sept. 7, 2011.
Born in Phoenixville, PA, he was the son of the late Thomas N. Sr. and Jeanne L. (McGowan) Pufko.
Thomas was a graduate of Phoenixville High School, Class of 1975, and a graduate of Wilkes University.
He served in the United States Marine Corps, where he was honorably discharged as an officer.
Surviving in addition to his wife are: step-son, Frank and wife Dorothy Clamer, and their two children of Coatesville, PA; two sisters, Stephanie wife of William Umbach of Phoenixville and M. Melissa Glading of Valley Forge, PA; a brother, Neil and wife Candice Pufko of Spring City, PA, six nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Dara Pufko.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Service in the Devlin-Rosmos-Kepp Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 517 S. Main St. at Fourth Avenue, Phoenixville, on Tuesday, Sept. 13, 2011 at 7 p.m.
Burial will be in Arlington National Cemetery.
A viewing will be held in the funeral home on Tuesday from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be sent to the Thomas N. Pufko Memorial Fund, c/o Phoenixville Federal Bank, 120 Main St., Phoenixville, PA 19460.

Edna Buchanan, 93

Edna C. (Brookshire) Buchanan, 93, wife of the late Donley Buchanan, of Phoenixville, PA, died on Wednesday, Sept. 7, 2011 at home.
Born in Mountain City, TN, she was the daughter of the late Jack and Macy K. (Wilson) Brookshire.
For 10 years she owned an antique store on Church Street in Phoenixville,.
She was a member of Bethany Baptist Church in Mountain City.
Surviving are sons Jack, Jerry, Terry and Justin Buchanan and Justin's wife Joanne along with four grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and a sister, Loretta Stout.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Lois Marie Buchanan, and her brother, Clarence.
A viewing will be held in the Devlin-Rosmos-Kepp Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 517 S. Main St. at Fourth Avenue, Phoenixville, on Sunday, Sept. 11, 2011 from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service on Tuesday, Sept. 13, 2011 in the Bethany Baptist Church, Mountain City, TN at 11 a.m.
Burial will follow in Brookshire Family Cemetery, Mountain City, TN.
A viewing will be held in the church on Tuesday from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.

Monica Gosling, 75

Monica S. (Barnes) Gosling, 75, wife of Keith Gosling, of Phoenixville, PA, passed away on Tuesday, Aug. 30, 2011, in the Penn Hospice at Rittenhouse, Philadelphia.
Born in May Hill, Gloucester, England, she was a daughter of the late Hilda (Robinson) Hogan and the late Colin Barnes.
She was a graduate of Hampton House and attended Gloucester Tech in England.
Monica was a member of the Daughters of the British Empire (DBE). Through her love of volunteering, she was a former board member and volunteer with Love The Children Adoption Agency, volunteered with Welcome House Adoption Agency, and was a former board member of the Montgomery County Office of Children and Youth.
She was also a volunteer guide at Valley Forge National Historical Park during the Bicentennial during the 1970s. Mrs. Gosling was big into crafts. She enjoyed making jewelry, needlepoint, crocheting and sewing. She also loved traveling the world with her husband.
Her object in life was to know everybody in the world and to keep in touch with them.
In addition to her husband of 52 years, Mrs. Gosling is survived by her children: Kristian, husband of Michele Gosling, of Lancaster; Laverne, wife of Joe Murach, of Burke, VA; Nicole Gosling of Phoenixville; Jason, husband of Kathleen Gosling, of Phoenixville; Thuy Gosling of Phoenix, Ariz.; Tara, wife of T.J. Struckus, of King of Prussia; and Malia, wife of Bunno Hin, of Phoenixville; seven grandchildren: Richard and Elysse Gosling, Gabrielle, Ashleigh, and Brianna Struckus, and Aaron and Ethan Hin; a sister: Margaret Gibbs; brothers: Stuart Barnes, Geoffrey Barnes and David Pallant; and her beloved cats, Humphrey, Mabel, and Alfie.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her memorial service at the Washington Memorial Chapel, Route 23, Valley Forge National Historical Park, on Monday, Sept. 12, 2011, at 1 p.m. Rev. Roy Almquist will officiate.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Monica’s name to the Monica Gosling Memorial Fund, c/o National Penn Bank, 702 S. Main St., Phoenixville, PA 19460, with all contributions supporting POEMS Syndrome research.

Mary Jean Trimble, 64
Mary Jean (West) Trimble, 64, wife of Cameron H. Trimble, of Phoenixville, PA, died on Tuesday, Sept. 6, 2011 in the Cancer Treatment Center of America, Philadelphia.
Born in Upper Darby, PA she was the daughter of Beatrice (Boyle) West of Nottingham, PA and the late Joseph H. West, Sr.
Mary Jean worked at IKON Office Solutions in Malvern, PA for 20 years, then at Paoli Pharmacy for the past eight years.
She was a member of St. Ann Catholic Church in Phoenixville where she was a lector and Eucharistic Minister.
Surviving in addition to her husband of 39 years and her mother are:
daughters Kristen Trimble of Wyomissing, PA; Katie Trimble of Boyertown, PA; Kelley Trimble of Phoenixville; Kimberly Trimble of Phoenixville; two grandchildren, Madison and Jaiden; and six siblings: Patricia West Ensor, Joseph West Jr., Bonnie D'Ginto, Jacqueline Lombard, James West, and Bernadette Buczkowski.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral mass in St. Ann Chapel, 604 S. Main St., Phoenixville, on Saturday, Sept. 10, 2011 at 10 a.m. with the Rev. John J. Newns officiating.
Burial will be private.
A viewing will be held in the chapel on Saturday morning from 8:30 a.m to 9:45 a.m.

Helen Swanson, 84
Helen M. (Vogel) Swanson, 84, wife of the late William P. Swanson, of Phoenixville, passed away on Sunday morning, Sept. 4, 2011 in the Kindred Hospital.
Born in Baltimore, MD, she was a daughter of the late John and Ann (Zsenyuch) Vogel.
Mrs. Swanson worked for and retired from the West Company in Phoenixville. She liked to watch NASCAR and local sports teams. She also enjoyed crocheting and reading.
Mrs. Swanson is survived by six children: William, Barbara, John, Raymond, Joseph, and Scott Swanson, all of Phoenixville; two grandchildren, Erica and Edward Swanson Jr.; and two great-grandchildren, Haley and Richard.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by two sons, Edward and Thomas, and one brother, Leo.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service at the Campbell-Ennis-Klotzbach Funeral Home, Inc., Main Street at Fifth Avenue, Phoenixville on Thursday, Sept. 8, 2011 at 11 a.m. Rev. John J. Newns will officiate.
Burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery. Friends will be received at the funeral home on Thursday morning from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.

Andrew Cushman Sr., 63
Andrew J. Cushman Sr., 63, of Linfield, passed away on Thursday, Sept. 1, 2011, in the Montgomery Hospital.
Born in Swedesburg, he was a son of the late Theresa (Cushman) and Walter Cushman Sr.
Mr. Cushman was a 1967 graduate of Spring-Ford High School and then served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He was employed as warehouse foreman for North American Moving and Storage Van Lines, where he was dedicated to his work.
He enjoyed collecting coins, stamps, military memorabilia and eagles. He was a member of the Spring City American Legion, and loved working with his hands, building and remodeling. He enjoyed traveling, riding his Harley, and was a pool shark, but most importantly he was a loving father and grandfather.
Andrew is survived by three daughters: Jennifer, Jessie, and Mindy Cushman, all of Pottstown; two sons: Andrew Cushman Jr. of Birdsboro and Michael Cushman of West Palm Beach, FL; three sisters: Dawn Faust of Gillett, PA, Dianne Cushman of Barto, and Lynn Veasey of Mantua, NJ; two brothers: Clement Cushman of Hughesville, PA and Walter Cushman Jr. of Spring City; and seven grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral service at the Cattermole-Klotzbach Funeral Home, 600 Washington St., Royersford, on Wednesday, Sep. 7, 2011, at 11 a.m. Rev. Paul C. Brandt will officiate.
Interment will follow in the Limerick Garden of Memories. Friends will be received from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday evening and from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
