Eleanor A. (Biehl) Baker

Eleanor A. (Biehl) Baker, age 84, wife of the late Lawrence R. Baker, Sr., of Phoenixville, PA passed away on Saturday morning, July 30, 2011 in the Chester County Hospital. Born in Phoenixville, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Agnes (Kane) Biehl.

Mrs. Baker was a member of St. Ann Roman Catholic Church. She worked as a clerk typist for Tredyffrin Township, and met her husband while working as a typist at the Valley Forge Army Hospital. Mrs. Baker volunteered much of her time at the Bookworm in Phoenixville, and was an avid reader. She was a member of a card club, and liked to play bingo and solve jigsaw puzzles. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. 

Mrs. Baker is survived by three daughters, Joanne M., wife of Robert Forrester of Manassas, VA, Claire Baker of Oxford, PA, Terese, wife of David Egleberger, of Downingtown, PA; two sons, Lawrence Jr., husband of Janice Baker of Downingtown, PA, Daniel, husband of Elena Baker of Douglassville, PA; seven grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by one sister, Margaret Biehl.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral mass at St. Ann Roman Catholic Church, 604 South Main Street, Phoenixville, PA on Wednesday, August 3, 2011 at 11:00 AM. Officiating will be Rev. John J. Newns. Burial will follow in the St. Ann Cemetery.

Friends will be received at the Campbell-Ennis-Klotzbach Funeral Home, Inc., Main Street at Fifth Avenue, Phoenixville on Wednesday morning from 9:30-10:30 AM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to the Special Olympics Pennsylvania, 2570 Blvd. of the Generals, Ste. 124, Norristown, PA 19403. Sean M. O'Keefe

Sean M. O’Keefe, age 45, husband of Verna O’Keefe, of Phoenixville, passed away on Tuesday, July 26, 2011 at home. Born in Darby, PA, he was a son of the late Donald and Patricia (Delaney) O’Keefe.

Computers were his life, and Mr. O’Keefe formerly worked in the computer industry. He enjoyed taking family vacations to Cape May, and especially enjoyed Sunset Beach.

In addition to his wife, Mr. O’Keefe is survived by two daughters, Christina and Ashley O’Keefe, of Phoenixville; one step-son, Michael Keating; and two brothers Michael and Kevin O’Keefe.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his memorial service at the Campbell-Ennis-Klotzbach Funeral Home, Inc., Main Street at Fifth Avenue, Phoenixville on Wednesday evening, August 3, 2011 at 7:00 PM.
