PHOENIXVILLE, PA — Ileane R. (Troelsch) Godin, age 88, wife of the late William E. Godin, of Phoenixville, PA, passed away on Monday, June 19, 2017 in the Spring Mill Senior Living, Phoenixville. Born on October 20, 1928 in Philadelphia, PA, she was a daughter of the late Louis and Linda (Jones) Troelsch.

Mrs. Godin worked as a church secretary for the Haddonfield United Methodist Church for many years. She was a member of the Haddon Fortnightly, the United Methodist Women, and the Red Hat Society. She enjoyed playing the piano, knitting, and spending time with her family.

Mrs. Godin is survived by two children, William E. Jr., husband of Sue Godin of Belleair Beach, FL and Denise, wife of Tim Garvey of Phoenixville, PA; five grandchildren, Kristin, wife of Jeff Hoehne, Jennifer Godin, Amy Godin, James Garvey, and Rachel, wife of Ryan Cox; and two great-grandchildren, Nola Garvey and Logan Cox. She was preceded in death by one sister, Barbara Shea.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her memorial service at the Charlestown United Methodist Church, 650 Church Road, Malvern, PA 19355 on Friday, June 23, 2017 at 11:00 am. Officiating will be Rev. Dr. Eric H. Woodworth. Burial will be held privately in the Forest Hills Memorial Park. Friends will be received from 10:00 am - 11:00 am Friday at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to the Charlestown United Methodist Church at the address above.
