'Overwhelming' Response To Valley Forge Blood Drive, Organizers Say
Organizers said that more than 1,600 people pre-registered to donate, the highest number for a WMMR blood drive ever.
Valley Forge, PA -- Organizers said that more than 1,600 people pre-registered to donate at theupcoming blood drive at Valley Forge Casino.
It's the highest number for a WMMR blood drive ever.
WMMR hosts Preston & Steve and the American Red Cross host the drive, to ensure an "ample supply of blood as we head into summer months when reserves get low."

Hundreds of donors will be randomly selected to receive a pair of tickets to one of the following summer concerts at the BB&T Pavilion: Slipknot and Marilyn Manson; Dave Matthews Band; Heart, Joan Jett and Cheap Trick; Korn and Rob Zombie, Black Sabbath or Steely Dan, organizers said.

The drive will take place on Saturday, June 18 from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Valley Forge Casino Resort Convention Center on 1160 First Avenue in King of Prussia.
