Phoenixville 4th of July Fireworks Celebration Rescheduled

The weather forecast has struck again: Phoenixville's 4th of July fireworks celebration has been rescheduled, officials announced Monday morning.

They will now occur on Saturday, July 9, at 9 p.m., at Friendship Field.

The forecast is balmy and in the 70s until about 7 p.m., when showers are predicted, according to Weather.com.

Phoenixville's First Friday celebrations were cancelled on July 1 due to the forecast as well.
