Phoenixville Education Foundation Announces New Leadership
Phoenixville Area High School graduates are among the new appointments to the Board of Directors.

PHOENIXVILLE, PA - Joan Cadigan has been hired as the Phoenixville Community Education Foundation’s (PCEF) new Executive Director, replacing outgoing Executive Director Kelly Connors who served the Foundation for many years, the organization announced in their newsletter.
Cadigan was previously the Vice President of the Board and has been a long-time volunteer for PCEF. Her career includes several years as Vice President of Community Development for a Philadelphia bank, and experience in bookkeeping and accounting for a local firm. Joan has a BA in Economics from Bucknell University and lives in East Pikeland with her husband Robb and their two children, who attended PASD schools.
The Board of Trustees also welcomed Dr. Shannon Burgess and Jennifer Hahn as their newest members, they announced in the newsletter.

Shannon is the owner of Valley Forge Eye Care and has been an optometrist in the Philadelphia area for many years. She chairs the corporate sponsorship committee for our annual fundraiser. Shannon and her husband Guy Brignola live in Schuylkill Township with their children who attend PASD schools.
Jennifer is a graduate of PAHS and is a long time volunteer in the schools --most recently as President of the Schuylkill School and Home Association. Jenn also chairs PCEF’s annual February Fundraiser committee. She has a BA and MA in Education and was a teacher for many years. She currently works for the Phoenixville YMCA. Jenn and her husband Ed have three children who attend PASD schools.
