Phoenixville Fire Department Ladder 65 Wins 1st Place In Competition

PHOENIXVILLE, PA — Phoenixville Fire Department's Ladder 65 was honored recently at a competition recognizing the best of the best in local firefighting.

Honey Brook Fire Company hosted the competition as part of their 125th anniversary celebration festivities earlier this month.

The event included a parade and a ceremony featuring several county officials and local political leaders and dignitaries.

The competition honored fire companies from across the area in a wide variety of superlative categories.

Phoenixville's Ladder 65 won first place in the "Best Appearing and Most Functioning Aerial Ladder Truck" category. Oakmont placed second.
