PHOENIXVILLE, PA — The Fourth of July and midsummer fireworks season is quickly approaching. Here's a glance at what's happening in Phoenixville and the surrounding area.
Phoenixville's fireworks celebration will begin at around 6 p.m. on July 4 at Friendship Field. There will be vendors, drinks, funnel cakes, and more available.
Fireworks will be set off at around dusk, typically at 9:15 p.m.

Temperatures will remain oppressive through this week, with a high of 90 on Wednesday. Things should be cooled off a bit by the time the fireworks show begins.

The Colonial Theatre will again host a fundraising event where participants can watch the fireworks celebration from their roof deck. Tickets are $125 per person. More information here.
Later in the year
Upper Providence will have a fireworks celebration as part of their Community Day on Saturday, Sept. 15. Children's activities, food vendors, live music, and more will highlight the event, which will take place at the Recreation Center at Anderson Farm Park.
