Phoenixville First Responders Honored For Saving Life
Phoenixville heroes getting the recognition they deserve.

PHOENIXVILLE, PA -- Several Phoenixville first responders were honored at a recent ceremony for their lifesaving actions on a call in April, the Phoenixville Fire Department announced.
Officers with the Phoenixville Police Department and firefighters with West End Ambulance and Phoenixville Fire were called to the scene where an individual had fallen into cardiac arrest on April 1.
Rapid CPR efforts and quick thinking restored the man to life, officials said.

Their "clinical save" was recognized on Thursday night by the Chester County EMS Council, Inc, who said:
"This commendation is awarded as a result of an act to save or preserve a human life, that otherwise would have expired without immediate intervention, through the use of your training and expertise in delivering pre-hospital care."
