Phoenixville Gets $154K Grant To Improve Water Treatment Plant
The grant will allow for significant improvements at the borough's water treatment plant.

PHOENIXVILLE, PA — Phoenixville will receive a grant to significantly improve the operations at its water treatment plant, local officials announced Tuesday.
The $154,836 in funding will be used both for upgrades to the plant itself as well as security cameras, State Sen. Andy Dinniman (D-Chester) said.
“Access to clean water and safe water treatment systems is vital to the health and quality of life in our communities. These funds will help local municipalities provide necessary water and sewer infrastructure upgrades,” Dinniman said in a statement. “The improvements mean more efficient, more reliable, and more secure water systems for local residents and families.”
