Phoenixville Girl, 11, Sings National Anthem At Law Enforcement Thanksgiving Parade
11-year-old Isabelle Gottfried made Phoenixville proud in New York City this Thanksgiving.

PHOENIXVILLE, PA — An 11-year-old Phoenixville girl stepped into the national limelight on Thanksgiving Day when she sang the national anthem at the National Law Enforcement and Firefighters Children’s Foundation's parade in New York City.
Isabelle Gottfried, described as a "petite singing powerhouse" by event organizers, helped kickoff the 16th annual event, which first began after the events of September 11, 2001.
According to organizers, Isabelle is passionate about singing, dancing, acting, and "giving back to others to make the world a better place."

She was also selected from over 800 students to participate in the Broadway Dreams New York Showcase on November 21, just before the parade.
"I'm so honored to be invited by the NLEAFCF to sing the National Anthem for the families of first responders who have sacrificed so much, at the Thanksgiving Day Parade event NLEAFCF’s been hosting since before I was born.”
