Phoenixville Girl Participates In Select Choral Institute

The Phoenixville HIgh School Class of 2019 student recently participated in Susquehanna's Choral Institute.

Phoenixville, PA --Vanessa Rodriguez-Mclean, of Phoenixville, was among a select group of students who recently participated in Susquehanna’s High School Choral Institute.

The Choral Institute is a weeklong residential program focused on improving students’ musicianship, vocal technique and choral performance skills.

Participants take classes in music theory, conducting, diction and vocal science; receive group vocal instruction from Susquehanna voice faculty; hear performances by Susquehanna students and faculty; and participate in a closing concert in Stretansky Concert Hall of the Cunningham Center for Music and Art.

Rodriguez-Mclean is a student at Phoenixville Area High School in the Class of 2019. She is the daughter of Jay and Carly Rodriguez.
