Phoenixville Health Inspections: 17 Violators Over Past 6 Weeks

PHOENIXVILLE, PA — The Chester County Health Department inspected 25 Phoenixville area establishments since the beginning of May.

Of those establishments, 17 had violations of some kind.

Nudy's Cafe led the way with 11 total violations, including wet wiping clothes stored outside of sanitizer solution, unlabeled food storage containers, improper knife storage, heavy food grease build up under grill, slicer not cleaned, mold-like growth on ice machine, sanitary napkin wastebin is uncovered in women's bathroom, and a lemon with mold, among other violations. The inspection left the cafe out of compliance.

• Rite Aid (200 Kimberton Road), inspected May 23, one violation
• TD Alfredo's, inspected May 23, seven violations
• Artisans Gallery and Cafe, inspected May 12, one violation
• Dunkin Donuts, inspected May 8, one violation
• Uncle B's BBQ, inspected May 8, one violation
• Wayback Burgers, inspected May 8, six violations
• Redner's Warehouse Market, inspected May 4, one violation
• Whitson's @ Schuylkill Elementary, inspected May 3, one violation
• Fruit Creations, inspected May 2, one violation
• Samuel A. Whitaker American Legion Post #482, inspected May 2, two violations
• Whitson's @ PASD, inspected May 2, two violations
