Phoenixville Health Inspections: Atria Woodbridge, Steel City, Black Walnut

The Chester County Health Department has inspected several Phoenixville establishments over the past few weeks. Here's what they found.

PHOENIXVILLE, PA -- How sanitary are local food establishments?

The Chester County Health Department has inspected several local area locations over the past few weeks.

Atria Woodbridge Place, a supportive living facility on Rapps Dam Road, led the way with three violations. Violations included "dark slime-like growth" on inside of ice machine, sink faucet not shutting off properly, and tasks executed without proper hand-washing in between.

  • Pickering Creek Inn, inspected August 30, two violations
  • Black Horse Tavern, inspected August 29, one violation
  • Loyal Order of Moose, inspected August 26, no violations
  • Prima Motel, inspected August 23, two violations
  • St. Peter's Episcopal Church, inspected August 23, one violation
  • Villa Pizza Italian Restaurant, inspected August 23, two violations
  • Yeagers Farm and Market, inspected August 23, one violation
  • Atria Woodbridge Place, inspected August 19, three violations
  • Black Walnut Winery, inspected August 19, no violations
  • Steel City, inspected August 18, one violation
  • Gridiron Sports Bar and Pizzeria, inspected August 3, one violation
