Phoenixville High School Stages 'Great Expectations' in November
By James Boyle The school's theater guild has announced the cast list for the fall semester's production of Dickens' classic.

The Phoenixville Area High School Theater Guild has announced the cast for this year’s fall play, Great Expectations, written by Bathsheba Doran, adapted from the book by Charles Dickens.
Mysterious benefactors, mad women, awful and wonderful characters populate the classic story as the orphan boy Pip grows into adulthood and navigates London’s society circles, and revisits his relationships with a wealthy woman and her haughty adopted daughter. As Pip progresses though escapades from the marshlands of England to London, he comes to recognize what truly makes for Great Expectations.
Dates for the play are Nov. 14, 15 and 22 at 7 p.m., and Nov. 23 at 2 pm. Tickets (Adult $7, Students $5) will be available at the start of November through Seat Yourself on the PAHS website, or at the door.
